Partnership with the Liverpool Philharmonic brings opportunity to young people in Anfield

Liverpool Lighthouse has partnered with the Liverpool Philharmonic to host an In Harmony hub for young people in Anfield.

Our new partnership provides young people aged 14-18 in North Liverpool with the opportunity to learn an orchestral instrument, play together and grow their music skills for free through a Thursday night programme based at Liverpool Lighthouse. The In Harmony programme began in 2009 and uses orchestral music to support young people to develop confidence, wellbeing, skills and resilience. Young people learn music from across all genres from pop to classical to modern and benefit from the opportunity to work with professional musicians, travel and perform together with other young people. Find more information about the In Harmony programme here: https://www.liverpoolphil.com/take-part/in-harmony-liverpool-youth-hubs/

The In Harmony hub partnership compliments the work Liverpool Lighthouse is already doing to support children and young people to develop skills and wellbeing through music and performing arts in our after-school performing arts programme, holiday clubs and Saturday Music School.

If you are a young person or the parent of a young person who would be interested in taking part in the In Harmony hub at Liverpool Lighthouse please fill in this form: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/Q5QYWX/
